  1. I DON’T think so. He wouldn’t do that with his daughter’s life at stake, together with seven other people. If he was flying alone, then you have a good theory I may buy.

  2. I’m not saying y’all shouldn’t mourn but the other people that were with him are also humans because I’ve been seeing tweets, posts from people saying RIP KOBE &GIANA but the most fascinating part is that, others that were in the chopper when it went down were never mentioned… Even if they’re yet to be identified but that doesn’t change the fact that they’re humans.

    • VERY GOOD POINT THERE! THIS IS one error with humans, as if a celebrity corpse and any other ordinary dead body are different in any way. It was a comedian that joked about this once, that no ordinary person should die the same day a celebrity dies.

  3. Unfortunately after your observations, you failed to type RIP to the other victims, not even to Kobe Bryant and his daughter Giana.

Don’t you think that you can do better than just criticize.

I’m saddened that someone would suggest that Kobe Bryant committed suicide on a chopper crash that he wasn’t the pilot. Sense is not common after all.

May the souls of Kobe Bryant and his daughter Giana and the other victims of the choper crash rest in peace.

  4. Story of people dying from lassa fever in Nigeria got only one comment. Story of an American death gets 4. I empathize with the American loss but will be more expedient to empathize more with fellow Nigerians. Charity begins at home.

  5. Compassion has no race, sex or nationality. The problem with Nigeria is, death is too prevalent that people now see massive destruction of human lives as no big deal. Kobe Bryant had a lot to live for, he voluntarily retired after 20 years playing with the same club that hired him straight from high school. He was not the pilot although the helicopter belonged to him. His daughter, her friend and parents were among those on board the copter. Truth is, Kobe was too relevant to be ignored and impacted a lot of lives in the short 41 years he lived (CNN carried news footage of his death from 3 P.M until midnight). We do not know when and how we shall depart this earth when death comes knocking on our doors. Let us do good and detest evil. Most importantly, love God and obey his commandments. God make us very
relevant to leave this world a better place and grant us long lives. To Kobe Bryant, Gianna, and others departed, be peace, amen.
