More details have emerged on why Leicester City and Super Eagles star, Ahmed Musa’s marriage of less than 6 years crashed.

We learnt the footballer and his wife, Jamila called it quit mutually after he was arrested for allegedly beating her in their home in England.

A family source told the Telegraph that the footballer and his wife decided to part ways over irreconcilable differences.

The source added that Ahmed Musa’s plan to marry a “tear rubber” wife was permitted by his religion (Islam) but his wife rejected the idea.

All efforts made by family members to mediate in the crisis failed as Jamila vehemently rejected the idea of her husband taking another wife.
