Feb 15, 2013 – Asaba Stadium Re-named After Steven Keshi In Delta State

The governor of Delta State, Mr Emmanuel Uduaghan has just rewarded Super Eagles Coach, Stephen Keshi with a lifetime remembrance plaque.

Stephen Keshi who hailed from Delta State has been honoured during the reception that took place at the Asaba International event center in Asaba, Delta State today.

From henceforth, Asaba Stadium has been named after Stephen Keshi.

So it will now be called Stephen Keshi stadium.

Governor Uduaghan also gave Stephen Keshi a whopping N8 million cash reward and a duplex in Delta state capital.

Stephen Keshi’s assistants, Dan Amokachi, Sylavnus Okpalla, and Ike Shorunmu got N4m each while each player gets N 2.5m cash.Members of the team who were old and present players of Warri Wolves FC got N5million. The beneficiaries are Sunday Mba, Chigozie Agbim, Azuibike Egweke, and Brown Ideye.

  1. I am very happy for keshi, all these huge pricess should be given to young players, why do you fetch water from dam to sea Mr governor dont forget about the lessprivilage in ur state. Keshi is already a billionaire.

  2. If Keshi lift up world cup he will be awarded as president of nigeria. May almighty God give u world cup tittle and hear amaizing history.
