Former Actress Dakore Egbuson has reportedly dumped the career that brought her to limelight in favor of marrying Olumide, the son of a billionaire businessman and politician, Chief Harry Akande.
The father-in-law to be, Chief Harry Akande, according to Nigerian Tribune has got the actress to promise the family not to act again. “As long as she’s married to my son”.
I don’t have any problem with Dakore dumping her career for marriage, but I am more concerned about a yet to be father-in-law dictating what life his son and wife should live.
Even though money might no longer be her problem, but what happens to a budding career and something she is passionate about?
TELL US YOUR OPINION, SHOULD SHE QUIT HER ACTING CAREER?

I tink its better to be a loving wife who has tym for her family than to stil pursue a career which at the end of the day might break her home, a good name is beta than wealth, she can do well in anyother career she decides on, i love dakore she looks like my elder sister, and i want the best for her,but if she stil wants to act she should pls pick decent role, so she can be a role model to her fans out there. And keep her home together

This is just the part that we hear, I wonder how far the control goes with Mr. Akande, is he also telling her what under to wear when making love to her husband? Is he giving them a monthly allowance like children? Her husband is a punk! How can your father come into your home and tell you what work your wife can do to add to your financial growth? Then again what choice does he have in the matter when his father holds the purse strings? Does he have a job or is his job being the some of a rich man? If she used to act the types of useless roles that Tonto Dikeh and Yvonne Nelson acts, I might consider the man’s arguement but Dakore pretty much played the same roles, an assexual rich girl/rich executive and look now she’s playing rich wife in her real life. I guess, all her career dreams to host a tv show, act and sing has gone by the way side. This man had better make her so happy that it’s worth losing herself and she better put her money aside because this man will never defend her before his father is yawa gas now.

Please, let us be considerate, Sir Harry knows what he was doing for altering that advise. What I am concerns about, is how Nigeria can become the greatest country in the world, and once a person like the Harry Senior can have a good plan for his son and daughter inlaw, he must have a better plan for the future of many Nigerians. Let us try to vote for him if he contest for the presidential post again. or please what did you all think? as for my concern, he has nothing to steal from Nigeria.
