Veteran Nollywood actress Patience Ozokwor popularly called Mama G after her role in “The Generals” movie has become a popular face to Nollywood movie lovers in Nigeria and all across the world.
The actress was born on the 28th of March 1958 in Amaobo village, Ngwo Udi LGA of Enugu State Nigeria.
Patience Ozokwor attended Teachers training college and after her graduation, she worked as a teacher for 4 years. She later became a radio presenter and news caster at FRCN in Enugu where she worked until it closed down several years ago.
From there, she got employed by another radio station where she worked until she joined Nollywood in 1995.
In 95, the actress featured in her first movie titled Ukwa. By 1999, she became a household name.
Since then she had featured in over 250 interesting Nollywood movies.
Patience Ozokwor lost her husband several years back. She has 3 children of her own and one adopted daughter.
Her 1st son is an engineer while her last born is a professional soccer player with Rangers Intl Football club in Enugu.
