This crash is the 3rd one that happened on the popular Lagos-Ibadan expressway this week alone.
The fuel tanker that crashed spilled the content of its tank (fuel) across the road around the redemption camp ground, a mishap which has forced Road Safety officials to divert traffic to alternate routes in the area.
According to FRSC coordinator, the petrol tanker with plate # XE 545 LRN crashed today and spilled fuel on the road.
Motorists are advised to exercise caution and be patient when driving.
