August 14, 2012 – Car Kills Pregnant Woman On Okada In Shasha Lagos

A pregnant woman today lost her life when she was knocked down on an Okada (motorcycle) conveying her on Tuesday morning in Shasha, Lagos, Nigeria.

An eye witness said a distracted driver who was talking on his phone while driving lost control. His car later hit the Okada man conveying the woman.

The Okada rider’s legs were broken and he has been taken to a General Hospital in Igando.

The unidentified pregnant woman died on the spot.

The driver who caused the havoc is currently being held for interrogation.

May her soul rest in perfect peace!
