Popular Nigerian breast cancer awareness activist, Debbie Osarere has lost her battle to cancer.

Debbie passed on to glory while getting ready for another round of chemotherapy treatment at an undisclosed cancer treatment facility in Maryland yesterday, Friday the 1st of April 2016.

Her battle with cancer started in 2012, at a point, she survived it but sadly the cancer returned and spread to her liver, bones and lungs.

Though she hoped to beat the cancer but her immune system became weakened by frequent chemotherapy treatment.

Five days to her death, she took to Instagram to share the above photo with fans with this touching caption:
