Emir Of Kano Is Dead: Cancer Killed Ado Bayero Today..Burial Ongoing

June 6th, 2014 – Emir Of Kano Ado Bayero Is Dead: Monarch Who Dies In His Sleep After Cancer Battle For Burial Today

Alhaji Ado Bayero, a popular monarch in Kano has passed away. Less than 2 weeks after he was rushed out of the country for an emergency medical treatment, the monarch eventually gave up the ghost in the early hours of Friday.

According to family sources, Ado Bayero dies in his sleep at exactly 5am on Friday morning in Kano.

He ascended the throne back in 1963 when he was just 33 and has ruled his people faithfully since then. He has kept a very low profile because of his health condition.

Bayero passed away today at age 83 after over 5 years battle with lung cancer.

His burial ceremony will hold today in Kano.

May his soul rest in perfect peace.
