Funke Akindele’s Mother Dead: Nollywood Actress Loses Mother Today!

Nollywood actress Funke Akindele is bereaved.

The actress lost her mother, Pastor Mrs R B Adebanjo to the cold hands of death today Tuesday the 7th of February 2023.

The elder sister of Funke Akindele, Olubunmi announced the demise of Pastor Mrs R B Adebanjo earlier today via her official Instagram handle @ neeceebosslady

A source close to the Nollywood superstar said Pastor Mrs Adebanjo died after a long time battle with an unknown ailment. The source said she died some minutes after 11am today Tuesday the 7th of February 2023.

Here is how the family announced the death of the deceased on Instagram.

“With deep sadness, the ADEBANJO and AKINDELE families announce the passing of their loved one, DR. R B ADEBANJO-Akindele, on Tuesday, February 07, 2023. They accept this loss with submission to God. May her soul rest in peace. Details of a memorial in her honor will be announced later.”

The deceased is blessed with 3 children namely… Funke Akindele, Olubunmi and Poga Akinkunle Akindele.

She is survived by her 3 children and many grand children. She lost her husband in 2019.
