The Nigerian Super Falcons has lost one of their own.

A Sports Reporter with PNO has passed on before completing her first assignment with the Super Falcons.

Imo born journalist, Miss Gracious Akujobi travelled to Abuja on Tuesday night to join the Super Falcons in preparation for the Olympics Games qualifier against the Equatorial Guinea when she suddenly fainted.

She was rushed to General Hospital in Maitama, Abuja where doctors diagnosed her with Malaria but sadly she didn’t live to see another day.

Her employer, PNO Dynamic Media Limited who sent her to work for the Super Falcons said she died around 11:15pm last night at age 33.

This is in contrary to what NFF said in a Press statement today.

Miss Akujobi joined PNO media back in 2013, covering the sports beat.

Before joining PNO, she worked briefly with AIT, 2muchsports and Ray Power FM.
