Some things that happen in this country baffles us sometimes.

Imagine an employer going to the social media to disgrace a job seeker only because of her bad grammar.

He/she went as far as attaching the applicant’s photo to the tweet.

This act should be condemned and not encouraged.

    That employer no try at all. He could have done this without attaching the lady’s pasport. Some people are simply insensitive.

    Why na? Why exposing and embarrassing her this way? Is the employer perfect? Some of all these Nigerians in the position to help their fellow always end up disgracing the person in need of their help. Sorry dear.

    Nobody is perfect in English. We are all learning the Queen‘s language.
    I hate people who like to showcase and feels they know too much especially when it comes to English language.

    This is really bad , he should have invited her and advice her so as to encourage her to do better, however it is the reality of our nation, students get certified through the back door.i think he was trying to highlight the state of our education system. it is very sad that a supposed graduate cannot write simple sentence on her cv.

    If the said applicant is viewed by the employer as unschooled, he/she may not be entirely wrong. If the employer were a medical doctor, his/her diagnosis may earn him some commendations from birds that have the feathers as him.

    However, what chargers my mentality is how this supposedly schooled employer is not educated enough to know that being this crude and rude to the extent of negatively publicising someone’s application with her affixed passport size photograph on it in the name of God damn… without her consent is a very big punishable offense by law.

    I don’t want to dwell much on this crap. Mr/Mrs employer my foot, you are a BIG DISGRACE , in fact, you are a heartless beast beast because you just shot the wounded.

    Hiya! what the employer did was wrong, but on the bright side, someone will pick her up, brush her up and offer her a very good position in their company, which am sure will be a better company than this over sabi employer trying to disgrace her….lets see who laughs last! Her wisdom will be brought to light!

    This crazy and bully employer must be sued for public humiliation of the lady job seeker. The employment paper, photos, certificate, and other private information she handed over to this dumb employer are sensitive information that should never be used for public ridicules and humiliation. Mr. Philip Obin as seen on his social media profile is a big fool and a dumb bully. If he is the Human Resource Manager for that company, he should be sacked with immediate effect for been very unprofessional, unintelligent, unreasonable. My advice for that poor woman is to seek the consent of a prominent lawyer to sue this guy and his company. Posting application paper and photo of any job seeker on social media for ridicule, humiliation, and character assassination is the peak of unprofessional behavior. The company must pay dearly for this barbaric behavior.

    Here is the problem. i am not worried about her english, but the presentation of the cover letter was very poor. she should have just use a computer or get a friend to type it for her.
