Jamin Zubena acted as the National Population Commission Director General after Dr. Donald Wokoma retired in June

August 19, 2011 – Jamin Zubena is The New Director General of The National Population Commission

President Goodluck Jonathan has approved the appointment of Jamin Zubena as the Director-General of the National Population Commission (NPC), a letter signed by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator Ayim Pius Ayim, has said.

Zubena’s appointment took effect from Aug. 12, 2011.

Before his appointment, Zubena was the acting Director-General after his predecessor; Dr Donald Wokoma retired on May 17, 2011.

He was the substantive Director of Vital Registration in the commission. Daily times
