Joanne Wickenden Fired: British Airways Hostess Caught On Video Cracking Dry Jokes About Nigerians Loses Job
The British Airways management has fired a mouthed air hostess who talked down on Nigerians in a video recorded on a BA flight heading to Abuja from London Heathrow on Friday night.
The 23-year-old flight attendant was let go yesterday after a 2-hour meeting with her bosses.
Joanne Wickenden however denied being a racist as she said she was only joking in the viral video uploaded to snap chat on Sunday.

If you listen to her properly, you will notice she was just trying to be funny but it went wrong.

What this lady said about Nigerian is correct why sacking her for saying the truth, Yoruba people think they can get iti malu, cow tail,pomo and others on the plan,am a Nigeria but our men has sitting problem I don’t know maybe what th3 lady said is true, when i was in Nigeria If am travelling long distance on bus i make sure i don’t sit beside a man because he will spread his legs wide not considering the next person beside him.

I am Nigerian and i don’t find this offensive. This is not a reason for her to loose her job (maybe a warning). They call this racism,
We deal with worse racism in our own country. She was saying the truth and trying to be funny…..
