Easter Monday was filled with merriment, peace and fun on the streets of Lagos.

Yesterday, Lagosians storm Tafawa Balewa Square for Lagos State Carnival 2013 that usually holds around this time every year.

The event was a celebration of colour and culture.

Lagos state Carnival 2013 event was part of the annual Black Heritage Festival.

According to sources, the event involves the gathering of different Masquerades from the S-W.

Participants also had fun at the various art exhibition events that took place at Badagry Slave Port & Broad Street’ Freedom Park.

Apart from cultural dance on the streets of Lagos, attendees also had fun with various water rides.

  2. what i see is the decency in the costumes, not like what we had here in Abuja where the ladies were completely naked in the name of the show.
    i am realy proud of this pictures.
