Popular hotelier and car dealer, Lanre Gentry is finding it really hard to let go of his now estranged wife, Mercy Aigbe who clocked 40 yesterday.

The father of many children in a birthday wish sent to her on the social media yesterday said they might not be in good terms at the moment but that will not change the fact that Mercy is still his wife.

His words:

“Even though we are fighting, you are still my wife and the mother of my children. Happy birthday Mercy Aigbe Gentry” .

Miss Aigbe is yet to respond to his hope-filled message.

Last year, the mother of two pulled out of her marriage after a violent beating that almost left her blind.

In interviews granted after the domestic violence, Aigbe said she is done with her marriage.
