On Wednesday the 14th of May, 2014, notable figures across the country, parents and family members of the female secondary school students kidnapped in Borno state last month held a candle light vigil.
The event that marked one month anniversary of #bringbackourgirls campaign took place at ThisDay Dome in Abuja.
Parents of the kidnapped girls who have been in Abuja since the campaign started used the opportunity to pour our their heart to God.
Dino Melaye, Nasir El Rufai and Oby Ezekwesili led the event.

why would this be done for girls that are still alive
