Nollywood Actor Bruno Iwuoha: If Female Politicians Occupy NASS, Corruption Will Reduce In Nigeria
Excerpts from veteran actor Bruno Iwuoha’s message on women’s day.
The women of Nigeria decided to be one today – pledging to be there for one another and support one another and that is good, if it will be a continuous exercise.
If not, tell me how many times a woman had indicated interest to run for a political position in Nigeria and had the support of other women?
So if this will be a gathering point for all the women to support one another and fight equality in every sphere of life, it is a very good development.
I’m looking forward to a day when women of Nigeria will really be united to fight for parity.
I can assure you that if women are in the majority in the National Assembly, the rubbish that is happening in this country won’t be happening.
2030 is very far, it should be today and tomorrow. It is achievable.

Let me just pretend that I never read that from you Mr. Bruno. Or let me just say…maybe your wife just gave you a kingly treats at home and you feel the best way to appreciate her was for you to come in the open and exhalt women.
Women themselves knows their position in life. BEHIND the Man. And so shall it be till the end of time no matter the education, exposure, experience, knowledge, civilization, quality or status of a woman.
God Himself put them there and there is nothing anyone can say or do to change that fact, not even you Mr. Bruno.
Pls go home and take a rest cos you are over fed by your wife. As for me,…

It is only in theory. I doubt if this would be obtained when we try it. Let us not quickly forget Patricia Ete, a former speaker of the federal house of reps. Her story does not encourage the theory that women are less corrupt than men.

This is political dementia on Mr. Bruno side. We have tried some women in the position of leadership in this Country. They could not just fit to lead. Have you forgotten Madam Hairdresser (Patricia Etteh)Stella Odua, Allison Madueke, Okonjo Iweala and so on?. These women should have laid a platform for all women in order to consider them sensitive position. They all failed and even more corrupt than their men counterparts.
