In his words:
My advice will be general to all, not just anybody that wants to come into Nollywood. God has deposited talents in us all. All you have to do is try and discover your talent and nurture it.
I did a lot of things when I was growing up before the breakthrough came. On NTA, people were asked to write a 30-minute piece and we were going to be trained by BBC producers and directors. I did and among the 5,000 people that applied in the country, only 23 of us were invited. Finally, I have what I call four cardinal points of success that if applied, you can never fail.
First, is make use of your head; second is hard work, third is perseverance. I went to 46 companies when I was looking for sponsorship for Riples. The last is prayer. These four will work for you.
