Nollywood actress Folashade Adewale nee Omoniyi popularly called Lepa Shandy battled childlessness for years before God blessed her with a set of twins and another child (a baby girl).
In an exclusive chat with The Entertainer, the actress took time out to encourage couples looking up to God for the fruit of the womb.
Having seen it and done it all, the mother of three has a word of advice for couples battling childlessness .
Hear her:
“Close your ears to whatever the world is saying. The only thing you should be doing is listening to The Word of God; that is just the food you need. People should know that there could be situations where its neither the wife’s nor the husband’s fault so couples must close their ears to what people say and open their ears to what God is telling them and believe solely on God and they will see the miracles of God in their lives.”

childlessness should not be a stigma. you have no control over your body so a woman should never be blamed for being childless

This pressure faced by childless women is not the same in all cases. You could have here a woman barren for 15 years and the husband understands, the mother-inlaw a genuine Christian, the sisters-inlaw comforting her. This scenerio lessens the pain and pressure compared to a woman who is just 5years into marriage and the mother-inlaw is already biting her and calling her names.
Childlessness is a very terrible experience, and it is only the strong man that would support his wife during that gruelling testing period.

Children are gifts from God. One can live without a child but remain blessed. It is better to be who God made you to be than have children by all means and regret all day.

Barreness is not from God but the devil. Thesame God who created Adam and Eve in the garden of Edem, blessed them and command them to multiply and take dominance over all the creatures CANNOT make us barren.
So, if your are sterile or barren then know that its the devil at work not God bcos… IF ITS NOT GOOD THEN ITS NOT GOD.
The way out is prayer, waiting upon the Lord and trusting Him to make all things beautiful in His own time.
