Okwudili Umenyiora was born in the United Kingdoms, to Nigerian parents of Igbo ancestry. His parents moved back to Nigeria, when he was still a teenager. He later moved to the United States, alongside his younger brother, Osi Umenyiora, who is, today, a former star of America’s National Football League.
While Okwudili was born in London, UK, he spent most of his youthful years in the United States. During his time in the United States, he had some unfortunate run-ins with law enforcement. This eventually resulted in his eventual return back to his father land, Nigeria.
Okwudili built up himself for years and today, he’s the CEO of a business conglomerate, with interests in automobile, real estate, entertainment and so on. Rumours have it that, Dilly Motors enjoys a very profitable partnership with Germaine Motors, a globally-recognized automobile company. During his trial, he further pleaded guilty to other charges of fraud, which involved using deception to defraud many Nigerians back home. After his plea, he was eventually sentenced to jail.
Shortly after Okwudili Umenyiora’s incarceration, he was released from prison, on March 9, 2006, after he purportedly accepted a deal from the FBI to “snitched out” his crime partners. Interestingly, few hours after his release from prison, he was rearrested for a fresh crime. He was, however, later released due to lack of credible evidence. After back-to-back release from detention, it took him only a couple of years before he eventually found his way back to Nigeria.
