I think they are bisexual. That is, they can have sex with both men and women. They are not straight gay as being established through media. Hard Core gay people do not go both ways. For the purpose of those who do not understand these people (LGBT) are classified, L-stands for Lesbian they are mostly women, Gay-stands for gay i.e men having sex with men, B- stands for Bisexual as being described above and T-stands for Transgender people who change their sex organ for example a man who decides to become a woman can remove his penis through surgery so as a woman. This guy above falls into bisexual category by having children
