Nawras and Moaz, a set of conjoined twins delivered by a Syrian mother in Douma city, Syria in July have been taken to a children’s hospital near Damascus.

The babies born with protruding intestines at the chest have now been safely transferred by ambulance to an hospital as Syrian doctors await World Health Organization to fund their surgery.

Doctors say the twins would die if they didn’t undergo surgery.
