Jumoke Orisaguna, a breadseller who answered a call to destiny recently has brought her husband Sunday to Lagos from his base in Osogbo.

Jumoke the “bread street hawker” turned model who landed the cover of This Day Style Magazine gets united with her husband Sunday who is now in Lagos yesterday. According to Ty Bello, the idea of putting Jumoke on the cover of ThisDay Style first came up from renowned ThisDay journalist Azuka Ogujiuba, according to Ty, Azuka said “Imagine if Jumoke was the next style cover”. From that single idea, Jumoke’s life changed in a second.

Jumoke who is now signed to Few Modeling agency, is going to be featured in other leading publications both within and outside Nigeria. She is scheduled to pay some courtesy visits to top government officials in the country as well as top entrepreneurs and business moguls.

We are told she will be featured in a lookbook campaign of a top Nigerian designer, be the campaign face for a major fashion week in Nigeria as well as being featured in the billboard campaign of a major fashion online retailer.

She will also be starting in an internship at Make Me Salon in Lagos, and has been offered an additional internship with Sari Signature Salon in Victoria Island, Lagos as she used to be a hair stylist in Osun state.

Her dream however is to go back to school and get an education.

An encounter with Tinie Tempah changed her life forever.

    I hope their marriage wouldn’t scatter as a result of this. Fame and wealth are not that easy to manage. And considering the kind of men that this fortuinate lady would dine with henceforth, the husband might lose his head if care is thrown away. But if the couple could manage this abrupt change in their lives, I’d it’s a good one.

    Just an observation, I think she’s more beautiful without make-up. The make up has clouded her natural beauty,and this is what most people,especially make up artists have failed to note. You don’t just take your paints and brush and color every face you see like “ojuju calabar” Don’t add any paint or colored make up to her face,if at all you need to make Jumoke up,let it be the one that will enhance her natural looks and innocence.
