May 3rd, 2016 – Pictures: Nigerian Catholic Bishops ‘Bow’ To Greet Buhari During Visit To Aso Rock

Yesterday President Buhari was honoured by top Catholic Bishops in Nigeria.

The 13 Catholic bishops who paid a courtesy visit to Buhari at Aso Rock yesterday include; Rev Kukah, Cardina Onyeika, Most Rev Akubeze and Ignatius Kaigama.

The first picture is causing outrage on the social media as most Catholic Faithfuls believe they should not have bowed to Buhari in this manner.

But if you look at it from another angle, it seems the photographer snapped them while they were about sitting.

On a lighter note, the wuruwuru photographer who took the last photo deserves a hot ‘koboko’.

  1. hahahah mr editor you will not kill me, you last statement cracked the shit outta me
trust me d phogorapher is an *** man

  2. Bowing down and not bowing down does not mean anything, they were seating down while the pics was taking.am sure their visits is about Fulani Criminals who are killing innocent citizens

  3. Whoever wrote this update certainly has some sense of humour. Koboko no be small one o. And na soja man go flog am.

But then, bowing or not bowing does not ammount to anything. Besides, Buhari, by virtue of his age and then his office, diserves that bow. But unfortunatly, they were only making their descent to their sits.

  4. SO OBVIOUS D PHOTOGRAPHER IS AN EXTERNAL TROUBLE SHOOTER AND EXAGGERATOR . D BISHOPS WANTED TO HUMBLY SIT-DOWN .

  5. Metu …I don’t concur with your last statement… The catholic bishops are priests ordained by God not men….bowing to Buhari at aso Rock was out of place rather it should be the other way round!!!! If they actually did….t
The bible says we should respect authority and those conferred with such noble authority..
What is more, bowing to buhari makes meschack shedrack and abedinego look stupid…

  6. Why not ask them whether or not they bowed rather than box each other commenting on hearsay “evidence” of some mischief photographer?

    Una all deserve koboko

  7. If it is that the bishops actually bowed before Buhari, that mean that they disgraced Roman catholic church and aswell desecrated our holy book(holy bible which forbid it) and from Now Buhari is Now their God they Now they worship.

  8. Bowing down or not bowing down, they have right to chioce hwo they want it, more over is President of naija and older than many of the Bishop.everything in naija is always like this and that.

  9. Did the priests call him God? There is nothing wrong with the picture, the current Pope would not hesitate to give that kind of gesture.

  10. Kai… Who is this guy with the handle name “Truthbetold“? You deserve a chilled bottle of, “wait a minute“, what‘s your favourite drink?

The last line of your comment made my day as it also made so much sense.

You have spoken my mind, so all that is left for me to do right now is to countinue my stolling.

  11. I think you took it too [email protected] King Nebuchadnezah demanded worship, but bowing to Buhari would never be interpreted as worship except you want to blow it out of proprtion. It shows respect, not worship as in the case of the ancient Babilonian king.

Now my friend, to proove that I am actually correct, check out those pictures and notice that two of the Clergymen shook Buahri’s hand with their two hands. What does that say to you?

  12. They were about sitting down when the pictures was taken a a funny corner or angle. They did not bow before PMB.

  13. Respect must be given to whom respect is due. what’s wrong about this men bowing down for Buhari, considering the office he occupies in Nigeria? I really can’t understand what those writing about this think the highest office in Nigeria mean.
