Amala Shitta is a popular local food joint in Surelere Lagos.

As far as food joints in Lagos go, Amala Shitta is truly the place to be and have the taste.

Unlike bigger restaurants and eateries that are vulnerable to harsh economic situations, causing people to think twice, bukkas like Amala Shitta still thrive, as people can afford most of its meals even in the toughest of situations.

I know these restaurants cook deliciously, but the problems are the water and ingredients used. The amount of sodium presents in a plate of soup is running to 2000/ milligram; sodium from salt and from maggi cubes are enough to cause problems cumulatively. Synoptically speaking, you will become hypertensive with this much sodium in your system per sitting or plate. If you cannot resist the taste, make sure you drink self- made orange juice or carrot juice after each meal to remove excess sodium from your body. Oranges and carrot posses ruthless amount of anti-sodium agent called potassium.
