It was laughter galore yesterday when top Igbo leaders led by the re-elected governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorochas visited the President-elect at the Defence House yesterday.

Spotted at the Defence House yesterday were Ex-Anambra Governor Chris Ngige, Professor Barth Nnaji, ex-Power Minister, Chief Ogbonnaya Onu and many others.

Very level headed Igbo leaders who are forward looking and not those who continue to fight lost battle and claim the rest of Nigeria hate them. Today, Germany has become one of the strongest allie of Isael despite the anihilations of more than 6 million Jews by Germans in detention camp. People of the East are their own enemies except very few led by Okorocha and Ngige. Igbos cannot continue to swin against the tide all their life, its time to re-align their political directions because there cannot be permanent enemy in politics, its all about strategising and chosing and using your friends to your advantage. The erroneous notion the Igboman is self made therefore does not need government patronage is unfounded and misplaced. That being the case; the noise about marginslisation and unwarranted migrations like normads should stop forthwith and all Igbos in wilderness be recalled back home to develop Igboland if indeed the Igboman is that successful. Petty trading exist eveywhere else in the world and why the people of the East tend to take pride in being traders and makes so much noise about being traders baffles the mind. Other Nigerian tribes who are not traders are equally successful in something else and contributing to the economic wellbeing of Nigeria. No single Nigerian tribe is a puppet to another and all feed by their own sweat so, what is the noise about the claim of envy by the Igbos.
