Here are more photos from Ooni of Ife’s visit to Tinubu’s mansion in Ikoyi Lagos yesterday.

Ooni was accompanied by Oba Saheed Elegushi who reportedly connected him with Tinubu.

Elegushi was the man who facilitated Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi’s appointment.

He reportedly called Tinubu, Tinubu in turn called Aregbesola and the rest is history…. You can find the gist here on NaijaGists.com, just do a quick search on the top right hand corner of this page.

See more photos from the ‘thank you’ visit.

This gentle-looking Tinubu get leg pass everybody else in Yorubaland. He is the go-to man of the hour.

  1. The new Oni of Ife-Kabiyesi Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi has been touring and doing what no Onis have done in the modern history for Yorubas unification. Oni of Ife has superiority over all other Yoruba kings and their kingdoms according to our history, yet, he humbled himself by visiting other kings that are no match to his supremacy. The most interesting was the visit to his rival of over thousands years recently in Oyo state. Oba Adeyeye’s visit to great Oba Adeyemi Lamidi Alaafin Oyo Iku babayeye shows his deep intention to unite Yorubas from the roots. Oba Adeyeye ki ade o pe lori, ki bata o pe else oba wa.

  3. Big man to big men, can a rich man ever trust a poor man? Why is it so difficult for a rich man to trust a poor man. Why are big men not making connection and friendship with poor men?
