Do you guys remember what happened between Peter and Paul Okoye during a rehearsal this past Wednesday?
Just a recap, the musical duo got involved in a physical fight after a heated argument..If not for the timely intervention of their dancers, it would have become another thing.
Another issue that is currently generating tension in the Okoye’s family is the issue of Lola Omotayo, a lady from another tribe whom Peter Okoye married last year.
As we speak, the Okoye’s family do not like her…. I hear the issue started with their late mother…. My source told me that Mrs Josephine Okoye doesn’t approve Peter and Lola Omotayo’s relationship but because they already have a son at that time, Peter Okoye stood by Lola.
Their union became official when Lola delivered Peter Okoye’s second born, Aliona Okoye last year.
To cut the long story short, I hear Peter Okoye has packed out of the Okoye’s family house after accusing his brother Jude Okoye of disrespecting his wife who is currently pregnant with the couple’s third child.
Peter Okoye also accused Paul and Jude of sidelining him meaning they always limit him to the dance part of their project.
The major issue in the Okoye’s family right now is the issue between Jude Okoye and Lola Omotayo.
Before their marriage last year, Jude allegedly confronted Peter and asked him why he didn’t marry Lola when their mother was alive knowing fully well that their late mother wasn’t in support of the relationship.
To cut the long story short, last week Thursday, a day after the twins exchanged blows during rehearsal, commissioner of Police paid a visit to their mansion for settlement but nothing is coming forth.
As we speak, Peter Okoye has contacted their family lawyer in order to divide their properties for his own share.
My source further said the issue between Peter Okoye and his elder brother Jude Okoye came open when he attended his twin brother, Paul Okoye’s wedding in Port Harcourt last month.
Recall that Jude Okoye shunned Lola Omotayo and Peter’s wedding last year despite the fact that he was in Nigeria.
Peter Okoye has moved out of Squareville mansion in Omole estate. He is now living with his wife and children in Lekki Phase 1.
I hope Jude Okoye will resolve any differences he has with Lola in order to preserve the dignity and protect the future of P-Square group.

Their settlement lies n d hands of Lola. She better settle d dispute nd unite them or remain responsible for their brkup. That wont b a good one @ all. Jude should understand that lv doesnt chose where it goes. He shuld pray 4 them nd encourage them. Lola has d duty to tell her husband to go bck to his kin. I don’t understand how people make comment that has no relevance. I am still very amazed that the average Nigerian can’t make use of common elementary reasoning. The woman in question is not the problem at all, and she has nothing to worry about. The problem is that these three guys have something they are not telling us. If not, that means the JUDE is not supposed to be a manager of professional singers. Consequently, the Paul & Peter are equally progenies of phenological heritage, not qualified to be professional entertainers. That they’ve made money in music doesn’t make any difference. Even a monkey could sing and as well make money.
My advice to them is that the JUDE takes Paul to their eastern city of Nigeria and thrills only the IBO fans. Foolish people without education, still bound by archaic xenophobic characters )))

HONEST SOLUTION-1.Lola need to first respect Jude,in Yoruba land the woman respect even a 15 year old boy in the family, that’s why the woman called the 15 year old “Uncle” because he is in the family longer than her.Lola kneel down on ur knees for Jude to accept u in the family.2.Jude should then love Lola unconditionally,if Jude loves Peter as his blood brother,he will accept whoever that he loves.Jude put urself in Peters shoes,if Peter doesn’t like Ify.3.All the 3 brothers should now have assets separately,u are no longer single.4.Squareville should remain solely for P square music.

Very sad to learn of this. Exchanging blows or not I would caution one to not underestimate the love that exists between twins. I pray it will be suffice to take them through this.
I don’t know if this is really the issue here, but tribe often serves of great importance to even those you would least expect it to. In the course of my work I have been opportuned to meet with hundreds of people seeking life partners and from my experience – far more than any other tribe, the Ibo’s still insist on seeking life partners amongst fellow Ibos. What’s even more suprising is that many still discriminate between the Ibo speaking states, not to mention the Ibo’s from Delta state which some say they don’t consider to be ‘real’ Ibo people. I have always been fascinated with this. Even those who have spent years abroad and in some cases don’t even speak Ibo, still insist on meeting Ibo potential partners. With the Yorubas,Calabar people, Delta region – many don’t seem to care where you come from.
I truly hope and pray that with time everyone will be able to look beyond tribe, looks and all the other superficial things that don’t guarantee a good marriage and focus on what is most important – to love and respect one another.
