Nollywood bad boy as he is popularly called was originally born in Gabon.
His Nigerian parents from Enugu Agidi town in Anambra State welcomed him to this beautiful world on the 25th of September 1976 in Libreville Gabon where he spent most of his early life.
Jim Iyke’s parents, Mr & Mrs Stephen Okolue later changed their last name to Esomugha in 1982.
The actor hails from Anambra state.
