According to Wikipedia, an antioxidant is a molecule that inhibits the oxidation of other molecules. Oxidation is a chemical reaction that can produce free radicals, leading to chain reactions that may damage cells.

    Most of the foods described above are very expensive to come by in Nigeria. They are rich men’s foods.70% of Nigerian population can barely afford three square meal not to talk of special foods for people like Dangote, Otedola, Adenuga & co. There are some other local foods we can substitute for the above food such as Mango which is also very rich in vitamin C. Apple is also anti oxidant which is good against cancer. Black Beans, Orange, Okro has a lot of nutritional benefits. All these pepper soup ingredients Thyme, Curry powder, Ginger and our local locust bean (Iru) all these can still be affordable for who wants to eat healthy with minimum amount of Naira.

    @julo tank u jare y will dey give lists of wat is not obtainable for common man and most of wat is listed i particularly do not them. Give us things dat are easy to comeby and less to get for d common man. Dat is wat u can call help_
