July 3rd, 2013 – Wizkid Defends Buying A New N15 Million Porsche Car “I Work Hard For My Money”
Weeks after the acquisition of a brand new Porsche Panamera car following a serious accident on Lekki-Epe Expressway in Lagos, singer Wizkid is battling critics.
Soon after Wizkid purchased the expensive wonder on wheels, critics took to social media sites like Facebook and Twitter accusing him of lavish spending.
The singer who is on top of these social activities is speaking up to defend himself for the very first time.
In a recent interview with Encomium magazine, the singer said he doesn`t have any car to drive around after the incident.
Wizkid said he deserve to enjoy his money because he worked hard for it.
Check out what the singer told Encomium below;
“I needed to get another one because after the accident, I didn’t have a car and I have to move around. I started taking cabs before I decided to buy this new car to move around. It is needed for work. And I don’t think there’s anything wrong in splashing millions on a car. If someone works hard and decides to spend on something that he thinks is good for him, why not? In fact, I don’t think there’s need to justify whether its is wrong or not. I work hard and I will enjoy my money”

Wizkid is my guy, anytime, any day and he does not owe anybody an explanation. However, Porsche is not the type of car that someone cruises everyday especially in a country like Nigeria with bad roads. You need an everyday car mehn!

Well I don’t know anything about your song, whether it is good or not , but my advice for you is that think carefully , invest your money, non of the singer of your type have ever reign more than ten years .once they made it for few years they fissile out .once you have no investment you are in trouble.only few have last longer than 10 years. Once they have one successful hit track they go into extinction.so boy no be for ever o especially if your song is meaningless and slang base once another singer come with a new song or slang the people abandon you.
