Beware! fraudsters are now using the name of Africa’s wealthiest man, Alhaji Aliko Dangote to dupe unsuspecting members of the public.
Here is a typical scam mail being used by the scammers.
“Dangote Cement Promo!!! This is to notify all stakeholders & customers of dangote cement, would for the next few weeks purchase the cement at a discount rate. Dangote is rewarding its loyal customers & therefore decide to splash the price of cement at the respective factories. According to the promo being run on Radio & TV, customers will now have the opportunity to buy the cement at #900 per bag at the on going Dangote Cement Promo. Offer is now open to the general public effectively from 21/06/2015- 30/07/2015. Kindly contact head manager on 07066054730 [email protected]”
