A young man identified as Destiny Ameh, lost his life at another viewing centre in the Badagry area of the state.
A police source told our correspondent that the victim was struck in the head with a sharp object while celebrating a goal.
The source said, “Around 8.30pm, one Destiny Ameh was allegedly hit with an object by an unidentified person while watching a match between Chelsea FC and Atletico Madrid at a viewing centre along Sofoluwe Street, Magbon, Badagry Expressway, Magbon, Badagry.
“He was rushed to Victoria Private Hospital where he was confirmed dead. The owner of the viewing centre has been arrested.”

When are we going to learn, why should somebody attack his follow humanbeing in the name of Football fan, or even take the life of another person bcos of a 90minutes game that is surppose to be fun, in every match i have watched the players always exchange jersy after the game to show love for each other, so why can’t our people learn from that, let us stop this killing and be accomodative.

that is football madness for you I only watch football when am less busy in the comfort of my room not view center. that is how a certain guy loose his only source of income (Nissan almeria ) to football bet here in Ghana.

on what reason must you kill someone for football sake …i think they plan that guy before ..my people please becareful nowadays even the person you call your best friend are the worst to even harm you ..they use them easily to get you .. please always do your own thing yourself if possible please.. i live alone with my family dont have time for friend.but must just show love to people .not to much, human are more dangerous than you see them , than a green snake
