Ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo today met with a group called Concerned Citizens of Nigeria at his base in Ogun state.
Obasanjo told the group to calm down that there will be no repeat of June 12 1993 crisis in Nigeria after the 2015 Presidential election.
Obasanjo declared that he has confidence in the All Progressives Congress, APC Presidential candidate, General Muhammed Buhari because he was a trained military officer.
The group called on Obasanjo’s intervention on the looming crisis:
“We have come to express our deep concern over series of dangerous political miscalculations currently going on under Jonathan administration.
“We are afraid that crisis is seriously looming and it is like another June 12 crisis is on the way and it may be very tragic for the country. We want you to as a matter of urgency intervene into the matter before it is too late sir,” the group opined.
In his response, the ex- President relieved their fears, saying that the 2015 election will never be like the June 1993 election.
“You need not to worry about anything. There can never be any June 12 annulment again. Buhari is not Abiola, he is a trained and highly intelligent soldier.
“Oyegun is not Anenih, Osinbajo is not Kingibe. Jega is not Nwosu, Jonathan is not IBB and this time around, Obasanjo will not support any interim government.
“Obasanjo will rather support a free, fair and credible election.”

This man has outlive his usefulness. he is no more relevant in the scheme of things. your words holds no waters. whether Obj likes it or not, Jonathan will definitely emerge the President and Nigeria will be better for it. GMB and OBJ should focus on their old age and make peace with their maker and let Nigeria be. Peace be unto The Federal Republic of Nigeria. Nigeria is bigger than OBJ AND GMB.

F**k all the people who are ranting, Look, When OBJ raised Jonathan hands and supported him in 2011 for President, and finally made him one, Heaven didn’t fall against OBJ, Why now, That heaven will fall or Nigeria will separate if Jonathan didn’t win the 2015 election ? Shame.

I dey laugh. Why isn’t so hard to recognize Igbo on any forum? Even after hidden their name and identity? They are the one who would use these words; “You people”, “OBJ mumu” “OBJ is not relevant” “Buhari go die”, are the Igbos really *******? Why can’t some of you think outside the box? Former president Olusegun Obasanjo has caused great havoc, setbacks and a political disaster to Nigerian people with the rise of the most unpopular, corrupt and unpatriotic president in Nigerian history called Badluck Ebele Jonathan. Baba Iyabo was the force behind Jonathan pick as then PDP vice-presidential candidate to candidate Umaru Yaradua. It is indisputable fact that OBJ imposed little known then Gov. of Bayelsa state on candidate Yaradua for reasons best known to him. Also, when criminal Jonathan decided to run again in 2011, OBJ was the main player who derail IBB and Atiku presidential ambition for his smooth reelection. Today, OBJ is trying hard to savage Nigerian worst and messy situations by supporting a better, competent, experience and a patriotic leader who he knows will rescue our declining and sinking nation from six wasted years of president Jonathan’s setbacks, economic failure, corruption, mismanagement, leadership failure and insecurity. Only a fool will expect a different results by doing the same things over and over again, Nigerian people from the north to the south deserve a better and competent president come 2015. President Badluck Ebele Jonathan will be disgraced and humiliated on March 28th, 2015 because our people are tired of his six years records of gross failure. Our beloved nation – Nigeria will welcome a new president in the person of General Mohammad Buari on May 29th, 2015 which is the next inauguration date for our next president. My advice for this do-nothing president is to allow free and fair election to take place for the good of Nigerian people and continuation of our young democracy. If he dear tries any election fraud and voters suppression on the election day, president Badluck Jonathan will be killed in a very bloody military coup That will end is six years of total failure, setbacks and serious hardship on suffering Nigerian people. If Jona not dumb like I thought, then he will freely handover power to the winner of March 28th, 2015 presidential election. General Mohammad Buari will win the presidential election in a landslide victory because NIGERIAN PEOPLE are solidly behind this great Nigerian patriot. This is what president Jonathan and his criminal political operatives fear the most by postponing the initial set date of February 14, 2015. What a shameless president!

I love obj because he isn’t a tribalist at all,but I don’t love his family life, nobody should hate obj cos this is politics and obj may even be on Jonathan’s side,layman always gives themselves headache.contract is still flowing amongst them,so stop giving yourselves headache because many of u hear cannot boast of millions in your account yet you are fighting for people who don’t care about u,the rich care for the rich,while the poor will kill his fellow poor for this same rich and powerful.
