December 21, 2016 – 2016 Christmas Celebration: Nigerian FG Declares Monday & Tuesday As Public Holidays

President Buhari has declared next week Monday and Tuesday as Public Holidays as Christians across the country marks 2016 Christmas celebration.

This was made public by his Interior Minister Alhaji Bello Dambazau.

He urged Christians to use the festive period to pray for peaceful co-existence among people of different faith across Nigeria.

This year’s Christmas celebration will hold this coming Sunday, the 25th of December 2016.

  1. You guys are not serious. Since Christmas falls on a Sunday, one day holiday which is the following day – Monday is good enough. Anyway, most governments are not paying salaries and owe eight months’ in some States, so what have employees got to lose? Stay home with your families and enjoy the festive season, in poverty and empty pockets….. diaris God o! Merry Christmas everyone (what is Merry in this situation? I wonder). God save Nigeria.
