May 2nd, 2013 – 3 Killed As Jeep Plunges Into Orashi River In Mbiama, Rivers State – Accident Survivor Undergoing Treatment
A Jeep that plunges into Orashi river at Mbiama this afternoon around 3pm has killed 3 people.
According to Vanguard, the Mercedez Benz G55 Model SUV with 4 occupants was over speeding when the accident happened. In an attempt to overtake a Mazda 626 salon car, the SUV ran into the river.
3 out of the 4 occupants of the car reportedly died before rescuers could reach the accident scene.
The body of the deceased occupants have been deposited at Shell Hospital mortuary in Port Harcourt.
Drivers should learn to control their speed when driving.. Over-speeding kills

Ayo lo npa enia, ise ki pa enia. What point were they proving and to whom? The driver of the mazda 626 is still alive and they’re not. They drove $100k dollar car comparing the power with mazda that cost less than $5k. May their souls rest in peace. Hopefully, people will learn from others silly mistake especially when they knew Naija roads are terrible.
