Nov 13, 2014 – A Tribute To Myles & Ruth Munroe By Bishop David Oyedepo

Myles and I called ourselves ‘twin brothers…..Myles, my twin brother is gone up to glory and Ruth, his partner in life and death has gone to eternal rest.

Faith and I miss you both! Our moments together on this side of the Jordan were most memorable. We stayed together on several occasions under the same roof.We lodged in same hotels time and again; we shared the platform together preaching the good news of the Kingdom over the years.
Our friendship of over 24 years was a most enriching and adventurous one,Our partnership in ministry was also a most profitable and rejuvenating one.Myles, my twin brother…..
A bundle of inspiration, a man of spiritual depth and insight
A leader of leaders and teacher of teachers.
Ruth, a bundle of joy and divine radiance…….
Your smiles were ever contagious,You exhumed gentleness, love and care like a fountain
You were indeed a priceless jewel!

The two of you were swifter than eagles. You literally traversed the globe as you taught nations the principles of the kingdom. You were both as strong as the unicorn, energetic, untiring, never relenting, purposeful and focused.

I could still remember, Myles and I took all the inaugural induction lectures for the pioneer faculty and Staff of Covenant University in August 2002.

All of Myles’ meetings on our church platform were ever inspiring and impactful.

The Living Faith Church Worldwide really misses you.

Good night Myles, my twin brother!
Good night Ruth, his partner in life and in death.

Bishop David and Faith Oyedepo President & Founder LFCW a.k.a Winners’ Chapel International & Chancellor, Covenant University,Canaanland Ota-Lagos, Nigeria.

Papa Myles a Person of positive Impact! Until we are making impact, we are irrelevant and a disappointment to creation.Thank you Papa for allowing God to use you to create the environment for me to hear Papa Myles Preach, and off course always with his wife.It was the word I needed to hear to know who I actually am. The love and mysteries of God is too wonderful.all the way from Bahamas and in just a meeting to end my years of beating about the bush.I never remained the same since after the meeting, a new and better me emerged. Yes, countless times I heard him call you his twin. May God bless you Daddy, increase your comfort and all of us that miss him and may God grant their soul rest in Jesus Name.

My heart us truly broken,he was indeed a man of God. His teaching on marriage when he visited Nigeria changed my life and perception on marriage. My strength in my home has been impacted by this GREAT preacher. May your soul and that of your dearly beloved wife and daughter rest in peace.

Weep no more for him, but ourselves. He is in better company – with the angels and our Lord Himself.
