A man is currently in Psychiatric ward following a violent attack on his neighbour in Surulere Lagos.
According to residents of 20 Oshinfowokan street in Ehin Iga area of Itire, a man identified as Sunday Mitten who works as dry cleaner suddenly ran mad on Sunday and wounded his wife before stabbing a neighbour to death.
The suspect who hails from Cross Rivers State stabbed one Sunday George in the chest 7 times when the spirit of insanity fell on him.
Before help could arrive, he had stabbed George to death.
He then proceeded to stab 2 other neighbours during the incident.
According to eyewitnesses, the attack happened around 1:30am early Sunday morning.
Sunday Mitten who occupies a room at the boy’s quarters of the building suddenly got up around 1:30, stripped himself naked and attempted to move out of his room.
His wife who tried to stop him was stabbed twice, but escaped and shouted for help. This attracted neighbours including the deceased, George, who equally hails from Cross River State.
When it became obvious that Mitten had gone insane, everyone ran for their dear lives.
Further bloodshed was prevented by the timely intervention of the Vigilante group in the area who bundled the suspect to the police station.
The victims are currently receiving treatment in the hospital. The corpse of the deceased had been deposited at a mortuary in the area.

Mysteriously tragedy,is there any punishment for this man under nigeria criminal code law…………this is bad,the dead and the madman is not at fault,but there is human being behind this saddest alas!

Mr facts no punishment because of my reasons below. Very sad. May the soul of the dead Sunday rest in peace. Locking the man up will worsen the situation. He needs complete deliverance. It is a spiritual attack. 130 am was he already sleeping? That is why we need to always pray before sleeping. This man dont know what he did. Trust me.
This happened to my own sister in London who went mental. this is a sister I sent to school feed and house. while she was in London school for masters she went mental and I had to flew from Lagos to see how. She told the police she doesnt know me and insulted the hell out of me, my husband and children. She was staying in parks with knife in her bag. It was my prayers that stopped her from knifing me. the devil sent her to do that to me but it failed. As I left the hospital where she was, she removed that knife to knife nurses just because they stopped her from following me. I was called and told of the incidence I was shocked. A very good sister who lived in my house with me and looked after my children in Lagos.
Do you know after she got a bit well she refused all the incidence. I spent my whole time with her prayed and prayed and prayed for her. She is now on mental health medication and a bit better. but refused all what happened. For me she still need to see strong men of God and are only in ~Lagos. I believed by gods grace she will one day come back to Lagos to undergo serious deliverance before she can be free completely though I still pray for her.
Whoever knows his wife or family should please tell them to take him to a strong man of God for deliverance. I will recommend Prophet Tb Joshua. If not he will remain like that for ever. No matter the medication. Most mental health disorder are spiritual attacks or generational curses or ancestral or evil spirits like marine spirit or spiritual wife. Or where he soil his hands or he himself is a witch.
For my sister is same. I come from cross river. Our late mum used to fetch water from a river at night when pregnant with her. That spirit made her to be very stubborn refusing to go to strong men of God. But by Gods grace she will do it when her eyes are clear one day. Trust me.

Your so called ‘strong men of God’ are the ones that need psychiatric help and criminal prosecution. They are all 419.
