I congratulate Muhammadu Buhari, and I say “well done” ! to Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, for allowing democracy to triumph in Nigeria. I can only salute Jonathan, one more time-hence this singular act of his, has shown the world and doubters of his character -like me ,that he is a very good man at heart-unfortunately one cannot say the same about the people he surrounded himself with during the last dispensation..
The Buhari victory is a VICTORY for DEMOCRACY!!-The event shows that Nigerians now have the power to vote for and remove any non-performing politician from office. I hope its the beginning of a new dawn in Nigeria politics.
A note worthy and commendable point in this political rigmarole is that Jonathan, after losing the election quickly conceded defeat and congratulated his opponent. But what if he had not tow the path of peace?
Some of us remember too well what Gen.Babaginda did during 1993 June 12 general election-when he annulled- what was adjudged then to be one of the freest and peaceful election held in the history of Nigeria; subsequently the late chief M.K.O Abiola was jailed and he never walked out from prison alive.
For this reason I salute GOODLUCK EBELE JONATHAN,for towing the path of peace and by not listening to sycophants such as Asari DOKUBU,Fani-Kayode and the imbecile from Ekiti-Fayose.

Well, my Presido, i can say that of all the Presidents, we have ever had in this Country, you are the most peaceful and God will bless you for that singular act. You will be remembered for ever. This is exactly what God told us in the Bible that we should follow peace with all men if it will be possible. We were also told to love even our enemies. That we should also make peace with whoever wants to take us to court. President Goodluck have demonstrated all this. I wish him heaven at last in Jesus name Amen.

And for my Northern brothers learn a big lesson from this. Learn to tow the line of peace when things go the opposite of your expectation. Learn that what goes around must turn around, learn to be peaceful in every situation. violence solves no problem but brings more harm. LONG LIVE NIGERIA.

You have raised a high standard that every president around the world should emulate. The office of the president is not ur home, but a temporal position of authority to govern a nation peaceful. Goodluck has proven this can happen with out the killing of the masses. Thank GOD for making it possible through Jonathan, GOD bless u Mr President.

My president, by your action, you have put the national interest above your own interest, you have averted the planned bloodbath of the ‘baboons and the monkeys’ and above all, have shamed the doomed day prediction for the proverbial 2015 Nigeria’s disintegrations. I wish our dear President- elect and other African leaders should take a lesson from your nationalistic humility. I wish you well in your future endeavour.

First of all i thank Pro. Jega for introducing the PVC, although the card reader dispointed many but i think with time we will get there, Secondly i want to thank Mr. President for accepting defeat without wasting time, if giving the position out to the people that swear to make your government ungovernable let it be for peace to reign, the almighty God will reward you for chosing the path of peace, Nigerians are proud of you for this single act, this is a lesson to other politicians, POLITICS IS NOT A DO OR DIE AFAIR.

This article will only move those that have not been following destructive campaign of president Jonathan and his barbaric wife for the past one year. It is indisputable fact that the president did the right thing and exhibited great maturity after his disgraceful defeat and humiliation by great Nigerian voters on March 28th and 29th respectively. Great Nigerian voters from every section of the country are the great heroes of 2015 election. The damages done to Nigerian economy, military, our image, and other government entities by president Jonathan poor judgement cannot be undone in 8 years by any elected president. If anyone thinks that Jonathan conceded to General Buhari on his own, then you are not been realistic. The pressure by the United States, Britain, and other European nations forced Jonathan and his agbero wife to forcefully accept defeat. The worse crime committed by president Jonathan was his tactic to win reelection at all costs by dividing Our beloved nation along religious line with the help of some criminal pastors. His legacy will be remembered for bribery, insecurity, mismanagement, corruption, abuse of power, intimidation of opposition party, fuel subsidy scam of 2011, and his great imcompentence. I want to seize this opportunity to congratulate General Mohammad Buhari – Nigerian president – elect for his steadfast, determination, and willingness to deliver the dividends of democracy to millions of suffering Nigerian people. President Jonathan might be a good person by nature, but he was so dumb by surrounding himself with crooks, unpatriotic, looters, and imcompentent advisers and managers. The General should learn from Jonathan’s political downfall by carefully choosing his advisers and managers. May God bless Nigeria. Amen.

God bless you for your comment. Some Nigerians like to celebrate mediocre, the damage this president has caused this great nation could not be over-looked.He would not have accepted defeat if not for international observers as mentioned. He is the clueless and insensitive president ever ruled in the history of our nation. For those of you shedding tears, you need to have your skull re-examine and think straight.

Bro. Jona I love forever. They promised to make the country ungovernable and truly they did it. Nobody can achieve anything tangible when his house is on fire. You have done your best, but you filled your admistration with enemies not friend. You saw hell for the past six years. I will still vote for you again and again. “Blessed are those with pure heart ,for they shall see God. Blessed are those who work for peace, they shall be called children of God. (Matthew 5:8 & 7) I called you bro Jona becouse truly your aren’t a politician . You are more of a pastor. But I believe God has a better plan for you. God bless your future endeavours, in Jesus name,Amen.

Buhari was so desperate tat he rigged the election, I am not surprised at all. GEJ u are the best president ever, u didn’t concede to defeat but allow peace reign so they won’t start shedding innocent blood. After killing thousands in d name of boko haram, they still came out. I’m sure and I knw dos innocent blood will surely cry for vengeance.

Gentle indeed. Do you guys have the common sense to draw the line between GENTILITY and STUPIDITY? For the President of a country to call terrorists like Boko Haram “our siblings”,(his siblings), not mine, how stupid can he be? He was a moron and did not have a clue as to how to govern a nation, as he could not put his wife Patience under a leash as she openly campaigned for violence. May they be stoned out of Aso Rock as they wished for others and I pray for those advocating this type of lack of leadership as gentlemanly that they will lose their children and loved ones to Boko Haram as those poor innocent parents. Their is a time for peace and a time for war, and knowing the difference and when to fight is the true mark of a leader. Even God got angry in the Bible and leashed out his anger when the need arose. So, please shut your traps and pray that we never experience this kind of idiotic leadership that turned Nigeria into the laughing stock of the world, to the extent that Cameroun and Niger had to rescue us from internal terrorism. He could not pay people’s salaries for four months and left them and their children to starve, whilst giving money to people to buy their support. God punish them ALL. God bless Nigeria and our well wishers, amen.

“Suffering and Smiling” – how much of his stolen money from Nigeria is he giving all these people feeling sorry for him? Most of them don’t know where their next meal is coming from and foolishly empathizing with a President who openly looted the nation! How dumb are some Nigerians. He said he doesn’t give a damn when asked to declare his assets. Ole, yeye man. Said corruption is not stealing and if you put a yam where a goat is, the goat will eat the yam. So entrusting him to govern Nigeria was his opportunity to loot, as most of the past leaders. God’s anger descend upon them all. He was disguising under the banner of “gentle” whilst milking the country dry. This election campaign only made me realize there are still very foolish and gullible Nigerians out there. Go with him to Otuoke or wherever his village is and enjoy the stolen booty.

Lola, you have said it all. I wonder how some Nigerians think, this is the man that looted the nation dry, even those abducted girls by boko haram have gone for ever, not mentioning the innocent Nigerians in the north-east burnt and slaughters by insurgent yet, some stupid people among us are expressing their feeling for him.You better start crying soon you will cry blood. Stupid people!

Lola O sorry peace is better than money. Did you see him looting money? If he has looted money allow God to judge him. Even if he looted money and has created peace that’s all that matter. We have to congratulate him for creating peace. Many other Nigerians if given the opportunity will loot as well if they do not have fear of God. So thank God he created this peace we have been dreaming of.
