Check out this elderly woman who went emotional the moment Buhari was declared the President of Nigeria.

The unidentified woman reportedly broke down in tears as INEC gave Buhari a certificate confirming him as the new President elect.

Awww, imagine a grown woman crying like a child, she must have been so in love with the retired military general.

See more photos below

We hope Buhari  will not disappoint people like her.

Very touching!!!!

The task of reforming and restructuring broken down Nigeria is not Gen. Buhari’s sole responsibility. It took several millions of people and years for the damage to be done. Now, a change of attitude towards collective responsibility, fairness and accountability is the task for everyone, not just the President. Perhaps we should ask ourselves why we choose to bribe people to get things done? If the same unrelenting perseverance and determination with which most Nigerians participated in the elections of March 28, 2015 is applied towards our daily activities, the dream of a better Nigeria will one day become a reality, albeit not within a four year period. We will get there one day, one step at a time. Change will become a reality.

I can only imagine that the lady was crying because -Nigerians have for so long been deprived of basic amenities i.e. constant electric power supply, high cost of daily living , shelter, feeding and education.
She was crying because some of our past leaders have been so heartless in their senseless greed and their insatiable thirst for money and blood of the ordinary masses.
I cannot fathom the reason why the average Nigerian should be wallowing in penury; in the midst of plenty when we sell crude oil to the world on daily basis.
If you take a look at other countries in the world that sell oil i.e. Saudi-Arabia,Denmark and the middle eastern counties they use the proceeds of the income generated from the sales of oil to better their society and her citizens.
But what do we have here in Nigeria; we have leaders who amass individual stolen wealth, running into billions of dollars starched away in a Swiss accounts ,like the recently recovered loot of £800 million pounds just recovered from the Sanni Abacha family and returned by the Swiss bank.
The lady was emotional because the average Nigerian is a very hardworking person who is full of innovations and talent .
But our only problem from the time of independence to date is lack of good leadership apart from the short regime of Tunde Idiagbon and Gen.M. Buhari-hence the lady is crying that we Nigerians can once again have some form of good governance which will hopefully heal old wounds and move Nigeria in the right direction.
