Dec 5, 2013 – Asari Dokubo Gets Chieftaincy Title 2 Days After Release From Benin Republic Jail
Niger Delta militant leader Alhaji Asari Dokubo has been honoured with a prestigious Chieftaincy title by his people two days after his release from Benin Republic jail.
Huge crowd gathered last week as Alhaji Mujahid Asari Dokubo, Edi abali 1 of Kalabari was conferred with the kalabari se alabo chieftaincy title at his country home (Buguma).
The royal family, friends, and well wishers sing songs of praises to welcome him last week at the occasion after his release from police detention in Cotonou, Benin Republic.

Oluwadunni, let’s don’t go too far on this issue am not from naija delta, but i will say it as it, what islam is saying is nothing but the truth, Asari is a freedom fighter if you don’t know then go back home or u ask ur elders if there is they will tell you about Asari, he is a true freedom fighter like others in different ways, joseph, the Great MANDELA, and others are from prison to palace, so if Asari should be honored the same way is never a crime@ISLAM u said it all

Asari Dokubo is a hero; freedom fighter. All of u critizing are illiterates and jealous of him. Like Mandela God use him liberate the oppressed. He is not apolitician and never hold any public office. Then what makes him a criminal? Like late Ken Saro Wiwa he fought for the cause of Niger Deltans. Today the region catered for by the govt . He was never awarded any pipeline contracts. God used him to liberate the Deltans from the Yoruba; Housa ; Fulani conspiracy. He is jailed, disgraced, but unlike the june twelve supporters refused to be bought over by the powers that be. Respect Dokubo.

this is just as funny as the people commenting. how will you honour a man that is threating the whole naion? does that make any sense? well i dont blame the king that gave him the title since money has changed hands, so what do you expect?
