The auditions for Big Brother Africa, BBA season 8 which took place at the Protea Hotel in Maryland Lagos took the sunshine state by storm few days ago.

Thousands of applicants stormed the aforementioned BBA auditions location to take part in the 4-day open event for the shortlisted candidates in Nigeria.

Some BBA 2013 auditions participants flew in from the US, UK and other parts of the world just to be a part in the audition that ended on Thursday.

“I don’t care about the distance. Apart from the money, I considered Big Brother a big platform for me to launch my showbiz career,” “I believe I got all it takes to be in the house and entertain Africa,” A participant said.

Big Brother Africa season 8 kicks off on Sunday, May 26, 2013 and will be screened live 24/7 on DStv channels 197 and 198 while GOtv audiences will see highlights of the program which will run for 91 days.
