July 13, 2015 – Buhari Fires Nigerian Military Chiefs & NSA Sambo Dasuki, Appoints New National Security Adviser & Chief Of Defense Staff
The Commander himself has started a major shake up in the Nigerian military.
PMB today sacked Sambo Dasuki and big belle, do nothing military chiefs.
According to Buhari’s Media adviser, the sack takes effect today.
This is the major shake up in the security and military hierarchy in Nigeria since Buhari took office.
He has appointed Major General Abayomi Gabriel Olonishakin as the new Chief of Defense Staff, TY Burutai as the new Chief of Army Staff and Major General Babagana Monguno to replace National Security Adviser.
President Buhari is indeed a man of action.

As a retired security operative I believe this is the first step in the right direction. The military has been compromised under Dasuki. A thorough investigation must be carried out

Hello Mr. DDG Ayandokun, your judgement with regards to PUB appointment of the new service shows that you are an expect in the nation’s security operation. This is a step forward in securing lives and properties of Nigerian people and visitors. Nigerian military under the leadership of corrupt and incompetent Jonathan has been compromised, weakened, and rendered powerless for the advancement of Boko Haram terrorist. This is another evidence that we have elected the right man as our president to rescue our beloved nation from more than thirty years of corruption, money laundering operation, shattered education, collapsing economy, embezzlement, bad governance, lack of vision and accountability, and from national security failure of Jonathan failed administration.
