Bukky Abaniwonda, a budding actress based in Canada has returned home to fully explore her options in the Nigerian movie industry.

When asked, Abaniwonda who is a certified Financial Advisor said she decided to return home in order to explore Nollywood and what it has got to offer.

With two productions, ‘Bridges’ and ‘It’s The End’ in tow, Abaniwonda says that she is set to impact the Nigerian movie industry.

“I’m trying to network with producers and directors in the industry and just getting a feel of the industry from the insiders, what it takes to stand out, to carve a niche for myself. Acting is something I’ve always wanted to do,” she said.

Although she holds a Masters in Finance and works as a Financial Advisor with a reputable bank in Canada, the rising star said acting, to her, is much more than just interpreting roles.
