The Catholic priest kidnapped yesterday while returning from a trip to Uromi in Edo state is still in the den of his abductors.
Reverend Father Edwin Omorogbe, a priest of a Catholic parish in Benin city was kidnapped by some gunmen yesterday evening at Egba axis of the Benin Ekpoma Highway.
Eyewitnesses said the gunmen fled into the forest in Uhunmwode with their victim.
Officials of the Edo state Police command are currently on the hunt for his kidnappers.
