  2. May her gentle soul rest in peace. She prayed for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren before departing this empty world. She ate Iyan and dead gently in the mist of her beloved. What a wonderful way of going back to eternity. Papa Awolowo was the greatest of all the Yoruba leaders, still date,no one has been able to match his wisdom, vision, ideas and many great achievement as the Premier of the former Western region of Nigeria. His region was the most developed, economic center, and most recognized in the First Republic. Chief Jeremiah Obafemi Awolowo wouldn’t have been able to achieve greatness without his beautiful and very supportive wife-Hannah Idowu Awolowo. She was a great wife, wonderful mother, and a great Nigerian woman. Among many achievement of great AWO are:Free education to all residents of the Western region, free health care for all, First ever Television station in the whole of Africa, Liberty stadium which was first in Nigeria, Great Cocoa House in Ibadan, and he fought along side with the like of great Zik of Africa, Sir Amadu Bello, chief Enaworo, and Alhaji Tafawa Balewa to get us our independent from the British. Chief Awolowo remain My Best hero, and His Great Memories Will Reside with The Yorubas and Nigerian people forever. I learned that Mama AWO knew and have accepted Jesus Christ as her savior before her departure. May her gentle soul rest in the blossom of our Lord and Good Shepherd-Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Amen.
