Nov 17, 2015 – Dalai Lama On ISIS Paris Terror Attacks: Prayer Can’t Solve Terrorism Because Humans Created It
Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lami said the rise of suicide bombings could not be stopped through prayer since humans created the problem of terrorism.
The 80-year-old told DW:
‘We cannot solve this problem only through prayers. I am a Buddhist and I believe in praying. But humans have created this problem, and now we are asking God to solve it. It is illogical. God would say, solve it yourself because you created it in the first place.
We need a systematic approach to foster humanistic values, of oneness and harmony. If we start doing it now, there is hope that this century will be different from the previous one. It is in everybody’s interest. ‘So let us work for peace within our families and society, and not expect help from God, Buddha or the governments.’

I did not agree with him because Mr. Delai Lama is a Buddhist, we both believe in two distinct and different spiritual values. I believe that every evil in the world is created by man who has given up his soul to the Devil. However, I also believed that prayers to the Creator of Heavens and the earth througn His son-Jesus Christ is the answer to all human problems. But I respect his view but not agreeing to his view in any way.

Praying to God doesn’t exempt us from doing what is right to correct our mistakes or errors, God will give you directions or formula to tackle and solve problems but, it our responsibility to get those problems resolved and finally make things better.

These terrorists claimed also that they are fighting for God or Allah. While we pray to God l think we need to fight these terrorists head on. Don’t forget they are also praying to God.

I disagree with you Mr Dalai Lama. You should know that God is above every Human inventions because he created you and I including all the instrument we use invent good and evil. Prayer is the key bcos it releases God’s knowledge to mankind, the implementation of dis knowledge is what brings better result.

Finally, someone is speaking what I have been telling people around me.Mind you I’m a follower of Christ. I know God answers prayer,just like he helped David win in battles,but only prayer without works (not dealing with agitation/grievances from the root no go work.I remember sharing some scriptures about this issue with some colleagues but they all disgreed and believe the prayers in church is will do. We have been praying against Bharam for 6yrs and will continue to do so,but we can cut short the prayer by applying wisdom so we won’t have to pray for another 5yrs.God is not deaf.He is a prayer answering God,but trust me, He is only tired of us not getting it or better still praying amiss. May be not be going round in circles like the Israelites that spent 400yrs on a journey that is way less. God wasn’t asleep then, He just wanted them to get it right. Until then Nigeria, hmmmm, be wise!

@ whether humans created Isis or Bharam. We should realise that everything that is good is from God and satan is the one ruling the earth. He created the chaos/insurgency.In prayer, it should be more of inquiry from God on how to defeat the enemy,not binding and kabashing lol. When Gideon enquired God gave him directions,step by step. David also enquire before going against the enemy every time he went to war and God gives him the required instructions. So in the aspect of prayer since that’s where most of you disagree, ask yourself, Do churches just unleash fire on Bokoharam or ask God on how to go about it.Onn the side of govt, there are things to be done as well,and many has been suggested in the past through media.Its left for them to implement them. So brethen, praying amiss is simply telling God to unleash wrath without asking him how to deal with the situation as if you’re the one that is the boss here.You need God’s wisdom first annd follow every instruction, so you know what to pray for. Enough of all this holy anger, humble yourself and seek God first. And same applies to every aspect of life. Don’t tell God your plans and then ask him to bless it. Ask Him first what he wants you to do. That way you won’t spend 20yrs on a request.

BECAUSE GOD CREATED ALL THINGS, EXCEPT WHAT YOU HAVE CREAT YOURSELF. SO GOD CAN NOT HELP YOU SOLVE WHAT YOU BEGAN YOURSELF, YOU HAVE TO SORT IT OUT YOURSELF.
THAT IS THE REASON WHY IT WAS WRITTEN, THE BELIEF OF THE SON, CAN NOT SAVE THE FATHER , AND THE BELIEF OF THE FATHER CAN NOT SAVE THE SON, AND YOUR BELIEF IS THE ONE THAT WOULD HEAL YOU.

Prayer has two major ways of impact, I don’t want to discuss much on this today because our spiritual praying heart is different from each others and in some cases some people believed that prayer can’t settle things on his own without their human effort.
I don’t like arguing with someone, but please open you Bible in study with me. proverb 15 verse 3, let us underline verse 8, have we forget what the Lord Jesus Christ done through prayer in the life of many people and how the Apostol work in prayer, when we pray in true spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ through holy spirit without sinful act our prayer will be answered instantly but praying with sinful act is just like planting seeds in a drying land.
verse 29 also point out the truth ways in prayer, in conclusion read psalm 145 verse 18 to 19 Mr Delai Lama and those that have the same spirit with him, prayers settle every thing because is the only keys to open every lacked doors.
Let us pray, Father in Jesus name, heavily father, deliver all your beloved country from the hand of wicked terrorists that is working against the progress of all your blessed country and let them be powerless over the world in Jesus name(AMEN).

I WOULD LIKE TO SAY TO YOU THAT PRAYER IS A GAMBLE,
I BELIEVE THAT MOST OF THE TIME, PEOPLE PRAY WHEN THEY DO NOT NEED TO PRAY.
ACTUALLY, I WANT TO BE RUTHLESS WITH MY STATEMENT; PRAYER IS SOMETIMES THE RECOURSE OF THE FAINTHEARTED AND THE DISILLUSIONED.
WHY DO I SAY THAT? IT IS BECAUSE MAN ALWAYS LOOKS FOR THE EASIEST WAY OUT WHEN DEALING WITH THEIR LIVES.
PEOPLE DO NOT WANT TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY, IGNORING WHAT THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO DO , THEY ABDICATE THEIR RESPONSIBILITY AND EXPECT THE CREATOR OR ANOTHER PERSON TO ACT
ON THEIR BEHALF.
