Sources close to Remi Tinubu have come after Senator Dino Melaye for allegedly threatening to rape the female Senator.
Though Dino Melaye later debunked the report by Sahara Reporter, it has been confirmed that Melaye indeed uttered the reckless statement yesterday.
When the senate session became rowdy yesterday, Senator Remi Tinubu cautioned her colleagues to talk with maturity but before she could finish her statement, APC Kogi West Senator Dino Melaye muted her.
Melaye later called on the Senators to fight President Buhari to a standstill. In the process, Remi Tinubu intervened again urging her colleagues to stop issuing childish threats.
At this point, Melaye got angry and called her unprintable names.
Here is the statement he made yesterday that caught the attention of everyone.
“I will beat you up and impregnate you on this floor and nothing will happen,”.
Other Senators later intervened to save Remi Tinubu from further verbal assault.
It is high time Senators stop taking alcohol before heading to work.
This Sayo Senator need some grilling.

Bid he actually say that? If so, apart from being a highly unbecoming utterance for someone who is expected to make laws which eliminate lawlessness, the utterance is indicative of some lusting after another person’s WIFE. What Dino said against other Senate colleague Senator Remi Tinubu is very offensive, rude and indecent. In a civilized democracy Dino will never make it back to the Senate floor for the rest of his entire life plus he will be charged for assault and sexual harassment. You don’t tell your associate who is a married woman that you are going to beat and impregnate her during the senate plenary session. That is rude and disrespectful to a woman who is not an house wife but a wife to a former governor. Even if she’s not married, you don’t initiate sexual explicit words against your colleague. Dino let me ask you, have you lost your mind when you said all those thing you said?. Now I understand that what your ex wife said about you was nothing but the truth. This case must not end there if the senate wants to redeem its image and Dino Melaye must resign and or be charged for aggravated sexual assault otherwise we will be a laughing stock around the world.

Dino Melaye should be ashamed of himself for his dirty behaviour. If he believes in the democratic rules he must tolerate the opinion of others. As a human rights activists, he must respect the rights of women. He is not above the law and for this acts of indiscipline against his own party member, the party members should caution him. Honourable Mrs. Tinubu must charge him to court for public assault and for threatening on her life.
