April 26, 2014 – EFCC Seizes Alhaji Tunde Orilowo’s, Laide Bakare Husband’s Properties Over Yellow Estate Scam

Laide Bakare’s Boutique Closed Down As Husband Loses Properties To EFCC

These are not the best of times for Alhaji Tunde Orilowo, the new super-wealthy husband of Nollywood actress Laide Bakare who is currently involved in a bitter legal battle with Nigeria’s anti-corruption agency, EFCC.

MTN sued the popular Lagos-based socialite when he allegedly spent the money given to him to buy several acres of land for the construction of Yellow Estate in Ajah meant for MTN workers.

According to a new report, a forfeiture order on all his properties has been granted to EFCC meaning he might lose all his properties very soon.

As we speak, he has two gas stations in Ajah area of Lagos, a mansion in Ibeju Lekki  and a mega boutique he recently opened for his new wife, Nollywood actress Laide Bakare.

Since he is still on the run over the yellow estate scam, all his properties might soon be taken over by the court.

Sources in the know said the forfeiture order has been displayed at his filling stations in Ajah.

Laide Bakare’s ex-husband in the US, Olumide has already told the actress she is yet to see anything. In a threat sent across to media outlets few weeks ago, he said by the time he is finished with the actress, she will be left with nothing.

The mother of two left her first hubby when she met the Lagos big spender last year.

Contrary to the deposition of Alhaji Oriowo, he repeatedly made it known to the public that MTN have not been honest about the deal between the duo. I’m not trying to take side but this Aboki Alhaji should have resolved this issue with EFCC before leaving for Canada or try to cut his trip short since the EFCC is now on the verge of taking over his asset.
